Prado Car Alarm

Hi all

Has anyone had experience adding an alarm to the Prado?

Any comments from others on

Seems a resonable addition to the immobiliser already on the prado.

Any other brands/models?

Looks good.

Has anybody priced a genuine Toyota upgrade kit?

The toyota ones are just plug-inand go.

Might be worth a price- check.

When I was picking up the car today I enquired and they advised there was no genuine alarm upgrade available!...

Oh welll.. Have gone with the one above for an install on Monday.

Just an update - had the above mentioned alarm installed today - took about 2 1/2 hours. Very professional and careful. All digital unit. Standard car key locks/alarms , etc. Works well.
