Good to see its a good light. All the LED ones I have seen are bright to look at but don't give off any light. I have friends who have them as headtorches for bushwalking and while they do last a long time the light they give is terrible. You can't walk by them at night.
Full marks to ironman if theirs works well!2005 GXL With most of the fruit!

Hey Strahan, don't tar all LED headlights with the same brush.
While the majority fall into your description, there's one brand out there that's the exception .... Petzel. And while they're around 4-5 times the price of most LED headlights ($75-$100), this is one of those times where you really do get what you pay for.
