Hi There,
I would like to know if anyone has any experience with Oru winches?
I'm considering getting a winch for those times when I'm off by myself in the bush - Out here (Broken Hill) the biggest risk is getting bogged in a dry,sandy creek bed - which tends to happen when I'm collecting timbers for my woodturning hobby.
I can't really justify a Warn or Mako winch - the Oru 12000k with synthetic rope weighing around 20kg seems ok on paper, costs about $500.
