Factory Rail Mount Sports Roof Bar - Key Replacement

Hi Fellows,

I have lost the key for my roof bars and just wondering how and where to get a replacement.
Ask around couple of locksmiths and they want to charge a fortune !!!

The lock itself got a number and I thought you should be able to get a key from somewhere..
Any tips people ????

In Brisbane we have RoofRacks Galore who keeps a box full of spare keys that you can rummage through and will charge about $5 or $10. Perhaps there is a major Rhino distributor in Melb that can do the same?

Thanks for that craigm !! I had a quick look into their website and couldn't find any Toyota keys. But Rhino keys were just $17..
I read somewhere that they are the same. Can someone confirm that for me please!!

No they wouldn't be the same. But they would have a limited number of key profiles. So eventually, (if you still had your key) you could unlock someone else's cross bars.
