Guys, I know I'm probably overthinking this, but I'm going to as the question anyway.
Got a 120 with an original Toyota roobar. I went to fit the winch, but realised that slot in the roobar for the rope isn't lining up with the winch reel. (see photos)
Traditionally, I always underwind reels of any kind (except dunny roll), but in this case I'll either have to flip the winch and reel from the top of the spool, or cut a slot in the roobar to reel in from the bottom. Don't want to do any cutting if I can avoid it. I'll probably have to cut the roller plate base to slot in, but I don't mind this.
Any suggestions?
