  • Fridge & cooker slide combo

Anyone ever seen or had any experience with one of these?

    http://store.adventuretrailers.com/p...mbo-Slide.html

The concept looks pretty good but the website doesn't have a whole lot of details.

I've got their standard Prado 120 fitout with Slide and checker plate edging. I really like it.

What I like about their stuff is the drawers have teflon runners not slides. There's nothing to get fouled with crud and dirt. Makes the drawer system much lighter too. Drfita say about 30kg all up on their site, but I've not weighed them.

I also like the little table they do. The right hand drawer has a pullout table above it. The legs fold up out the way. It really is useful as you can half pull it out when you just want a quick stop. Its even done duty as a change table for my bub when parked at Westfield & Bunnings car park

No photos of the fitout though. But its basically replace the two inner tiedowns with a bolt, and use two turnbuckles on the outer

True that. Options to relocate are good

Not sure Id want my cooker that close to my fridge either. I'm a messy chef and it would get grotty very quickly

                Cheers r4ndll!

Which cargo barrier is that? One of Drifta's or did you have that before?

And how do you go about accessing the space left down the sides of the drawers?

NP. Barrier is from Caddystorage systems (http://www.caddystorage.com.au) full height. Had it a year and a half before the drawers. If I were doing it again I'd go for a half height barrier as I lost a bit of space at the bottom. The cavity in there makes a good water storage site. But it's a dual position barrier so can go behind first row seats which was important at the time. Was no issue for Drifta to adjust the drawers. Think I lost 10-20mm in length

The space down the side is covered by two sidewings which are just lift out with your fingers. They're just resting on removable L brackets. Too dark for a photo so here's a link to the product.

                    Cheers r4ndll.

I have an AutoSafe barrier which uses the tie down points to locate. I think I'll have to contact Drifta as it seems their drawers also use these points.
