A quick update. ARB to their credit have agreed to replace the bar with a new colour coded one. Initially the offer was to respray the original bar, but due to the excessive quoted turnaround time along with the inconvenience of having to ship it back to them, I suggested that wasn’t good enough and they’ve now agreed to the replacement. I guess I’ll just have to see how good the next one is, and if I get the same result, I’ll go the external contractor option.

Hope you get a better outcome 2nd time around, although with the price that ARB and any other 4x4 accessory retailer charges, it should be A1 first time around.
Just a quick question, has anyone had a similar problem with say TJM, Ironman or Opposite Lock? If there is less chance of this problem with others, I may be persuaded to go elsewhere when it's time to replace the sovereign bar.04 GXL - Red Centa dual battery, Alloy B/bar, BFG AT's, Rhino Rack commercial bars x 3, GME TX3540, TJM roof cage, Outback Ideas recovery points, LHS rear drawer, 2" Dobinsons/Bilstein lift, ARB CKMA12 air compressor, CoilRite airbags, ARB 2.5m awning, MCC Dual Wheel Carrier, Eagle Eye headlights with 55w hid lo beam.
