Roo Lites ... with clear lenses ...

I've got them wound all the way in ... to spread beam ... as I've got bugger all long straight stretches where I drive.

I don't have time to run around a whole lot of stores ... so I do a bit of a local run .... check out the prices ... then do most of my shopping at night on the net.

If it works out the same price or cheaper with postage factored in ... then all is good. Its even better when its a whole lot cheaper ... 'cause then I tell Bek how much money I'm saving ... for the next accessory.

BTW ... its also worth getting shares in Oz Post

i read somewhere, that the blue covers don't show up till mid this week.
                      i think, could be wrong

That's why I went with these. After looking at Mav's thread on converting the Lightforce lights to HID ..... and the same HID kit suits the Roo Lites too ....

If I ever need to floodlight the street .... for a junior footy carnival or something .... I can just whack in a set of HID globes.

Not yet ...... the BLUE covers will be hand delivered by Mr Postie midway through the week ..... then I can get a decent comparo.

Although .... I was thinking of going the MAROONS .... they're a winner all 'round.

Sorry mate ... only the most basic instructions on the box.

Grasp the light itself and wind it out to narrow the beam .... wind it in to spread the beam ..... at least that's how I think it works.

Oh ... and if you wind up with the whole salad bowl in your hands ... you've wound it off too far.

I tried it last night and that's how it seemed to work. The problem is they throw out so much light that it can be hard to see a whole lot of difference between them.

I've even got mine wired up independantly ... seperate power feed, relay and switch for each light .... so I get a chance to set each light up by itself .. without the other light interfering.

                              Cheers

I just couldn't bring myself to put something blue on the car at this time of the year - even if it improves things.
