Polaris head unit bluetooth connection

Have had the Polaris unit now for about 6 weeks. Absolutely rapped with it.
Just a small query though. Sometimes the Bluetooth connection will work automatically and other times you have to go and Auto Connect so it will work again. Why does it forget to connect sometimes?

I'm guessing it's just one of those bluetooth niggles that pop up from time to time. The exact same thing happens in the connection between my Polaris and my SonyEricsson. Maybe once every 10th or 20th start up it won't connect and I have to do it manually. Same thing happens between my SonyEricsson and my Sony stereo bluetooth headset. Connects fine most times, then once in a while I'll have to reboot the phone to get a connection. I think that's just the way bluetooth is...

I think it depends on phone as well, my nokia use to not connect say one in 20 but the Blackbery i have now connects every time without fail with the Holden bluetooth or the toyota whatever car i am in.

I think the bluetooth quality on the Polaris is rubbish compared to the factory head unit. On top of that, it connects in headset outdoor profile when the factory unit connected as carkit.

Annoying part of that unit (one of)
