Good one Matt.
I've also had discussions of having the filter extended through the firewall into the cabin. I guess this could make sense in very dusty environments where the air-lockers would need to be operating. Stretching it all the way back into the cabin makes for a long straw and one that I think would impede tyre-inflation speed. Still, probably not a bad trade-off if it's really needed in those environments.
Your hose looks nice and short, so I wouldn't expect much/any change in performance.

I just purchased the ARB air compressor switch but they could not tell me what wire goes to the 5 pins on the rear of the switch....
Can you remember what goes to each pin.
There is three on one side and two on the other.

The side with two is the power from dash lights and negative for helping to find the switch at night. The side with three is accessories in, accessories out (to relay) and negative to show light in the on position (altough you will hear the bloody thing). Should be in the install documentation supplied with the unit but here is a diagram I put together to help me with setting up an ARB switch base for driving lights. That is great. I just purchased the switch by itself and they couldn't tell me how to wire it up. I will get on to it soon.
I am just going to replace the current switch i used but i like the idea of having the switch labeled.
