She's a bewdy Matt.
Originally posted by pradogxlv6I had to make a spanner to securely mount the compressor, as it is tight. Also when I wIred it up, I was going to wire it to the aux battery, but ARB told me to go for the start battery.
And that spanner... what a classic!
I couldn't wait to test mine out after I finished my install. Have you given it a go?

Re: Install of ARB Air Compressor - CKMA12 in a V6 Petrol 120
Good one Matt.
I've also had discussions of having the filter extended through the firewall into the cabin. I guess this could make sense in very dusty environments where the air-lockers would need to be operating. Stretching it all the way back into the cabin makes for a long straw and one that I think would impede tyre-inflation speed. Still, probably not a bad trade-off if it's really needed in those environments.
Your hose looks nice and short, so I wouldn't expect much/any change in performance.
Cheers,

Re: Install of ARB Air Compressor - CKMA12 in a V6 Petrol 120
Hi Matt
I just purchased the ARB air compressor switch but they could not tell me what wire goes to the 5 pins on the rear of the switch....
Can you remember what goes to each pin.
There is three on one side and two on the other.
Thanks
Jack

The the pin marked "Ground (Lights)" can be joined to the other ground as there is no floating nagative (I think it's called). The pin marked "+12V(Highbeam)" can be linked into your accessories ciruit so that the compressor can only be controlled when accessories are on unless you wish to run off of your Aux batteryNick

Re: Install of ARB Air Compressor - CKMA12 in a V6 Petrol 120
Thanks Nick
That is great. I just purchased the switch by itself and they couldn't tell me how to wire it up. I will get on to it soon.
I am just going to replace the current switch i used but i like the idea of having the switch labeled.
