Yep, that would be me who's trying to do that. I also have a thread on 4WD Action forum as well for those interested. At this stage it's just expressions of interest from serious folks to see how many numbers we can get and then approaching the venodr to see if they are able to offer us.
If anyone is interested in buying maxtrax, I have resumed the thread over on myswag and trying to obtain the best price. For any PPers interested please read the terms in the link here
You can post your interest here or PM me.
Cheers

Bugger Bali, get out and see Australia before we sell it all to China.
Is http://www.discountcaraccessories.com.au still the cheapest place to get the maxtrax? Anyone know what's going on with the group buy? I'm in no rush to get a set.
Cheers,
Will

The group buy died a sad death, i only had 2 people express interest and there was no way i was going to approach anyone with that.
seems like I might have been slightly ripped off. I paid $309 from ARB in perth
haven't used them yet, but everyone I have spoken to has raved about them so I think they are a good investment.
I would like to see some more pics of them in use if anyone has any and it is not too much trouble.

Editing videos is not my forte but here is a link on our adventures a few weekends ago captured on a dash mounted camera. Sorry, no recording from outside but you can see me handling the Maxtrax. They're simply quick and easy to use. viewtopic.php?f=26&t=10021#p131747
There was no way we could have gotten out of the greasy hill without the Maxtrax or getting winched out. I'd prefer the Maxtrax in this instance as it is more expensive to get a bullbar and winch. Haven't been too adventurous yet so a bullbar and winch is not high on the list. So the Maxtrax will do for now.
The only problem I have with them is that they can carry a lot of mud.
