I have searched through the archives here, but have not been able to find the answer to my problem. I wish to fit the roof basket that I have left over from my old Pajero (if I can mention that word here) to the roof of my new Prado, which currently has a Toyota standard two bar set up which fits between the roof rails. The basket is 1500 x 1100 in size and fitted on a 3 bar set up on the Pajero. Are there fittings available that would enable me to fit the basket to the bars or will I have to remove the bars from the rails and fit something else to which I could attach the basket. I cannot find a brand on the basket, but it is black steel mesh and bought from Roof Rack City.

Re: Fitting roof basket to existing roof bars
Roof Rack City should be able to help you out with some sort of fitting kit. Worst case you might have buy the Rhino cross bars and use a U bolt kit.
