MSA have 2 versions last time i looked. i have the one with the side pockets, and it is MASSIVE. my 2 year old some fits inside.
if you don't have much gear, look for the smaller one, or else the bag flops around a bit.
MSA use heavy/good quality materials and should go the distance.
Bushranger's wheely bin is also another, although a fair bit smaller, i can fit 2 pairs of muddy shoes, a snatch strap thats not rolled up and some towels.
you can seperate items with the MSA one. and the price normally reflects on the quality.
also consider anti thefting it too.

I have one from Infront Camping which we used last year on the Get Together and the Simpson Crossing.
Cost around $50.00 from memory. Very well made and heaps of room. Google the name and check them out on their website.
When I renewed my sub to 4WD Action a couple of months back I grabbed an MSA one but I haven't used it yet but it looks like it would last for years as well.
Hi, I renewed my subs to 4WD a few months back and I took the "special" a MSA - works well on the spare wheel - I put a large garage bag inside the MSA and it is the communal rubbish bag for all campers I go travelling with - bottles, cans, general rubbish etc - no probs.
GXL D4D AUTO, Option Pack 1, DEPK from Toyota Motorsport, Toyota Tow Bar, Build July 08, ARB Dual Battery, Scanguage II, 50mm Lift from AutoCraft, TJM Airtec Snorkel, ORS 2 Drawer setup, 35 Litre Water Tank, Half Cargo Barrier, BFG AT, ARB Sahara Bar, Bushranger Hot Water System (and it works well), Tigerz11 12,000lb with rope, and other bits
Just to throw up another options (non canvas), I have an Outback Ideas (same fella who makes the recovery points) Rubbish Sack which is made of shade cloth mesh. The good thing about it when I've used it is that wet products tend to end up nice and dry, altough I've only used it in dry locations. Would be cheaper than a canvas option but probably not as robust but also probably more resiliant against rotting from being damp.
We have a MSA bag. I like to fit an empty beer carton inside to firm it up and stop it from hanging like a teenagers backpack. Rubbish go in plastic bags inside and at the end of the trip a good spray wit the pressure cleaner works a treat.

How do these bags attach to the wheel? Just trying to get ideas to attach other things to the spare tyre, say a set of Maxtrax with a protective layer of some sort between the maxtrax's pointy bits and the tyre.
both the MSA and bushranger bags have drain holes in the bottom of them.
both of these also use the seatbelt webbing material that wraps around the back of the tyre with massive quick release clips like on the MSA seatcovers.
the MSA one has one additional strap that is a form of anti theft as it has 2 eyelets in the strap. its short, and i loop it around a spoke on the spare and i put a 10mm zip tie to secrure it. its just so people cant just unclip it and take it. if they really want it, they're going to cut it off.

We use the Blackwidow version ,cost $90 ,and has been used on a couple of trips as rubbish bag or the storing of wet & muddy recovery gear. After a trip it cleans up like new again and is easily fitted over top of spare like a wheel cover and held at the bottom by a big rubber cord fitted with hooks

I just saw the latest Super Cheap cataloge and they are advertising Ridge Ryder rear tyre storage bag for 30% off only $25.99. For that price it seems hard to go wrong. I will get one on the weekend and see how they work.
