Roof Rack Installation

Well i am all ready to install some roof racks but am stuck at the first step i cannot get the little covers on the roof rail to budge.

They have some arrows on them is that the way they slide if so i cannot get them to move am i missing something :?

Sorry i read through that but it does not help as i do not have roof rails on there. Imagine a bare roof, however there are some covers i need to get off the track before putting the roof racks on. These are obviously there to cover the roof rack mounting point but for the life of me i cannot get them to move ( i am unsure as to slide or lever off as i did not want to break them)

Hi Chester, from memory they slide forward and then lift off.

I did this a few months bacl and the covers on the roof mounting point did just slide off. Could just be jammed with dust that has would its way there...
