hey guy's. my names john and i have recently purchased an 04 model petrol gxl stock exept for a bull bar and a pair of driving lights. i plan on building it up for mainly a tourer but as i live on the edge of the vic high country plenty of weekends will be spent in the bush. only last week i received an ironman rooftop tent and an awning2000 to mount ontop of the arb touring rack i ordered at the same time. my question is that i was not sure if it was possible to fit the tent to open over the back of the vehcle with the annexx on and if anyone has done this before??as this is how i would prefer. your comments would be much appreciated. cheers, john.

You will finde that the rear door will hit the ladder. They work fine side mounted as they have less wind drag when driving. Don't forget to get hold of a airfoil, a well made one will save you heaps in fuel costs.

100Kg is the limit for HD Tojo or Rhino bars. But that's for a moving vehicle, the tent and two people static load is no problem, mines as steady as a rock.
Would not like to try it with the factory roof rail set up though.SnowyComment
