Looks the goods I reckon. How do you think this stuff will hold up against pinstriping if it was used on the sides as well?
How long did it take to fit and What was the cost?

missus reckons a cast vynal would be better, it took seven hours to lay the roof.. and a couple more the next morning.. to trim cook in the edges and replace the trim .... cost $200 for the 3m x 1.5m of body wrapp.. cheers butane

i've was considering this a fair while ago... thinking about seeing if i can get a mat/satin grey colour that's close to the charcoal of the car... justifying it as "protection" for the car... but when thinking about the cost to do the whole car, i was thinking having the paint "freshened" after a few years, would be more cost effective.... if i even end up caring at all.

...but if it's a job i'd be capable of tackling myself, i should maybe look at it again.

$200 for enough for the roof.... so you reckon under 1K to do a whole car?

the thing i dont like about doing the whole car is the appearance , say when you open the door/bonnet.. $1 k would be enuff but its a two or three person job. and not for the un committed in application ,,, 7 hrs straight to do the roof... I would recommend a whole car paint job , do it ya self style, over a whole car wrapp .. but then again if its a look ya after just keep the doors shut...

                      cheers butane

Do u guys know there is a place in melb that can wrap your whole car in a clear tough contact that goes on clear and is tough enough that it absorbs pinstrios from trees and wash up perfect. It is a little more costly but you keep the original colour. Had a friend do it and went out and my car got scratched that hard and his came through with nothing.

Can't help you out for Melb, but I have a friend in Brisbane who body wraps exotic sports cars. Bloody expensive though! Yes, cheaper than a respray (just), even at mates rates.... here's the link to his web site if you want a gander. The racing room

Has anyone done full body wrap yet?
I was thinking of black, but then decided against it for silver pearl. But if I can get it done with matt black. mmm.. Decision to make.
