Right rear PASSENGER door suddenly not aligned

Hi guys. Went for a very light trip the other day, and I mean only gravel road and noticed shortly after stopping that the right rear passenger door, directly behind my drivers door, was millimetres out at the door and when opening and closing now it is sticky, to the point that I have the give the door a good shunt to make it close.

Any ideas on this random thing.I MAY HAVE TO TIGHTEN UP HINGE BOLTS and realign somehow, nothing else explains this. Nobody leant on it, no flexing on gravel roads....HMMMMMM!!I did go over some soft sand near the beach but anyway.

Sorry mate, I thought you said its out of alignment, I did not realise it was a question.

Its out at the handle end from what I can see...I am a little bit concerned...My local shop looked at it and he seems to feel the same as me..its odd...He even said it may be the chassis...now that worried me.

Like I mentioned...it was perfect and then after a light 1/2 day trip its out not aligned. Weird too, as it seems to be perfectly aligned at the front and top back but then its way out at the flared lower rear section by a 5mm gap.

I can send a pic when car gets back if you like.

I hope its just a bent hinge or panel or something silly...any ideas

This might be a silly question as I haven't seen the car, but from what you're saying, are you sure the flare hasn't come loose? Or it's just the flare that's out of alignment? It could even be the rear bar that's making it look that way.. Doesn't seem possible for part of the door to be out and not the other part.
Anyway hope you work it out.

Did you get any joy with this? My rear passenger door has just started doing the exact same thing.
Only highway driving between working and not working. Very concerning
