I've seen a few 120s with a small flat disc-like spare wheel cover, that covers only the wheel rim, not the tyre. They appear to be fixed by a nut or something in the dead centre. Anyone know if this is a Toyota thing, or after-market? And do they require anything special on the spare wheel bracket, or do they fit all? I quite like the look of them, and might like to try one.

Yes,that's the one, thanks guys. Obviously mine is not a Grande, so might have to go and talk to Mr Toyota about this. If it's a Toyota part, might be a bit too spendy!

The scratched one on the right. And I must correct you. The better question is: "Which one WAS mine".
The one design fault in the MCC rear bar is the license plate fixing system. It makes getting it off very diificult. I simply fixed the light and plate direct to one of the covers and can now remove either wheel and put the cover on the remaining one. (Well almost, I need to extend the wire)
