I know what you mean, all are vehicles are mine spec, now they want us to put on a GPS tracking system that monitors how fast you are going, how hard you push the brake pedal, how long the vehicle idles for etc ect & if any of the parrameters are exceeded it sends a message to the safety dept

Yep definitely illegal would not pass Oz Standards in regards to pedestrian safety or much of anything else, would love to see what an insurance company would say when an accident happens!
Four & Five posters went when they changed the ozie standards and that was when we got this current batch of bullbars (not sure they should still be called bullbars as I doubt they would withstand hitting one) which shake and roll all other the place

Imagine trying to service it or do basic maintenance under the bonnet - you'd need a cherry picker just to look inside!
The owner must have more than one apendage between his legs because you couldn't be that stupid with just one!
I'll bet there are Bundy and B & S Ball stickers all over the rear end. Bloody cowboy.

I travel out west quiet a bit & it seems these bars are very popular out there, I have seen probaly a dozen in my travels, out there their main concern is roos & with the current crop of bars from the major players, one large kangaroo strike & your bars dead, at least with this bar you could run down the whole mob & keep going, theres a place for these bars & its out west where they have been designed for, no for the city dwellers or the off road crowd

Over the top for a Prado I think. Still, it definitely would depend on where the guy (or sheila) was planning to drive it most. As an ego trip, I too think it's a waste of money. But that person obviously thinks otherwise. I'm more thinking a single brush bar that would run from the side steps up to the top of the Sovereign bar in my case, not something chunky like that!
