Hope I wont get in trouble for posting this but I searched endlessly and haven't found an answer to my problem.
I have 2007 D-4D GXL auto and have noticed over the past few weeks that whenever I engage low range, there is violent shake/wobble in the whole car. The wobble is amplified in the transfer lever and is most noticeable when engaging from drive to neutral and vice versa (the shift lever moves atleast 3-5cm side to side).
The wobble is only really noticeable when stationary and foot on the brake. The wobble dissapears when I start to move. It feels similar to easing pressure on the brakes at the lights very slowly and the car slowly jerks forward, almost like ABS engaging and disengaging.
Is this sounding like a broken mount or is it perfectly normal and I'm just being paranoid?
Thanks in advance!
