Four Speed Transmission

Does anyone know if the 4 speed auto in a 2003-2006 is found in any other Toyota like a Hilux?
I need the shift box out of one and have been having trouble sourcing one from the wreckers.

From my understanding the original 4speed auto in 90s was a A343F and on release of the 120s the 4 speed tranny was a A340F ,i think they where very similar boxes ,maybe the 120 had a little larger oil capacity. As for what the 05 on hi lux runs with the 1gr motor i am not sure.

Seem to remember the auto trans is a carry over from the Landcruiser 80 series but I may be wrong. Any good auto trans shop should be able to tell you. You could phone Wholesale Automatics in Bayswater. They recently did a valve body upgrade on my Prado and seem to know what they are about
