Front Diff driveshaft play

I have a 2008 D4D, 60,000km.

There seems to be an excess amount of play where the inner drive shaft enters the front diff housing on the passenger side of the car. The play, vertical , is around 3 to 4 mm. I also have around 12 mm of backlash on the input flange from the prop shaft ( measured at the nut pcd). The rear diff has 3mm backlash. This tends to indicate to me that the main diff bearings and or gear backlash is too loose.

Any thoughts?
