Vibration coming from hig/low ratio stick

When in Drive but at a standstill, say at traffic lights, i hear a vibration coming from the high/low ratio stick. If I put my hand on it and push it to one side just a little it stops.

As soon as I accelerate, even slightly, it stops immediately. If I stick the auto box into neutral it stops.

At this stage it is just annoying but I wonder if it is the start of something because I've not noticed it before.

Anyone else had this?

They vibrate like crazy.

When they don't, start worrying. Just hang the missus's bag off it if it really worries you

Mine's the same, but it only becomes apparent when I use the lever to hang the Thai takeaway from. Then it shakes the plastic bag like crazy

Wouldn't do that. My missus used to do it and wore all the silver off the trim
