So read a few threads here on clunk noise and you need to grease tail shaft and uni joints.
OK so now that I have taken over looking after the car and not Toyota Dealer I get under on the weekend to have a look at this rear tail shaft. Holy hell there is flaming grease everywhere. Looks like they put the air grease gun on until it was spewing grease and then after driving it has sprayed grease everywhere.
My question is do Toyota sort out these tail shaft issues or is it now my problem to fix?
If it is mine to fix does anyone know in Brisbane if there is someone that does replacement tail shafts that sort the clunk issue and grease spewing out where the two shafts meet on the rear tail shaft. I don't want to grease it if it is just going to spew the grease out again and keep clunking.
