hi guys, after driving in LL on a steep four wheel drive track, I have disengaged 4 wheel drive, and driven on tar for while, then turned back onto a 4wheel drive track, but now can't engage HL or LL. The 4x4 gear shift won't move at all. Why would this be? I have not done everything that I have not done before, and never had a problem, but now, the 4x4 gear shift won't move/engage. HELP!

What model 120 do you have ? Is it manual, auto ?
Technically, a Prado is ALWAYS in 4WD, in that all wheels are being driven. All that lever does is LOCK the centre diff and put it in LOCKED centre diff mode and either high or low gear range.
If putting it in neutral, you cannot move that stick there is some problem it needs to be looked at.Cheers, Wayne
