Hi Hutch,
Breakup of the costs for my install:
Battery $160
Tray $165
Isolator DIY kit from Repco: $150 (retail $200)
Slab of beer during install: $40!!!
The only expense i really tossed up about was the tray, but i am glad i
spent the extra now.

Well done.

Yeah, i am not an ultra handy man, but i figure if i do things where i can i will save some big $$ over all.
Then i can put it towards a better accessory that i cannot fit.

Spoke to ARB today about battery trays. Asked for a price on the tray that mounts up near the firewall and was told that there is no such thing and there are only ones that go behind the headlight.
After I said that I had seen photos of one they are going to look into it...
Anyone have an ARB near them that will ship interstate as the one here does not seem to have a clue.

I would be happy to get the ARB part number for it tonight for you!
You can see the extra mounting studs through the inner guard. These come welded to a plate for easy fitting and I also mounted my isolator to the side of the tray. Seems really sturdy. Pulled the battery for the photos and found yet another spot to clean from time to time!!

Hi Strahan
I spoke with the local ARB in Caboolture called Northside 4x4 a few weeks ago about fitting their dual battery tray and they use the one mounted on the firewall passenger side. I believe this is the correct product code (4321010, ED 50) for the Diesel version. Cost around $585 for full kit including loom and smart solenoid and tray etc. Hope this helps.
