Cruise Control Fault

G'day,
Recently came back from a trip and have noticed a fault with my cruise control. Sometimes (not always) when you start the car the cruise control cannot be turned on, no light on the dash or function when you try and set speed etc. I've been able to shut down then restart to get it working again but this may take a few try's. When I have started the car with the cruise not functioning and driven down the road it does sometimes come back on and then works fine?

Is there a sensor etc. to check, clean or replace???

The only thing that comes to mind would be the clock spring on the steering wheel columb, have
you had any other issues, ie horn or stereo controls not working, airbag warning etc?

I do seem to recall similar being mentioned before maybe someone else can recall?

yep mine did it ended up being the switch or something so the entire stalk was replaced worked fine after that

Yeah everything else is working fine, just the cruise fault. Ill track down another stalk and look at replacing. Thanks for the help.
