  • Need new main battery

before anyone asks... YES I HAVE USED THE SEARCH FEATURE....

However (even as stupid as I am) the answer wasn't on the first couple of pages of responses...

I am looking to find a new starting battery... The second (dual or duel depending on how you spell it) battery is doing a mighty job and continues to perform well, however the starting battery (at 5 years of age) is cactus......

Does anybody have feedback on what to replace the starting battery with and the relatives costs and benefits thereof...

    Many Thanks...

    PK.

    I would recommend Excide Extreme...
    http://www.exide.com.au/products/index.php

You should be able to get one under $150 and it comes with 2 year warranty

      Battery

      G`day

Ive always had a good run with AC Delco batteries, mind you they have always been heavy duty N70. But also Exide make a good battery and i believe they are made down under.

      cheers

I toured the Century battery factory in Brisbane years ago only to find that they made just about all of the batteries manufactured in Australia. They naturally had to label them differently but the specs were pretty much the same. Since then I have tried to choose the battery with the longest warranty if I can.
