Prado wont move out of Park position with engine in "on" or "running"

Hi all, my 2008 Prado won't come out of Park position with key on and engine running. I have to use the manual push button on the console. Any help will be appreciated.

brake lights not coming on ?? fuse or brake light switch

Yep most likely brake light switch or fuse. Stopping the lock solenoid from releasing.
