Cruise Control Not Engaging

Hi,

I'm noticed that my cruise control no longer engages when cruise is switch on and the "Set" paddle pressed. The light on the dash turns on to say cruise is on however now engagement. I don't have any flashing lights on the dash. I'll plug in techstream this afternoon to check error codes.

Are there any other common causes that should be investigated?

Brake light fuses. I had a similar issue and it was the brake light fuse from memory. (Might have been the tail lights but pretty sure it was the brake lights)

Once I replaced the fuse it worked perfectly again

The cruise control didn't work on the way to work but worked on the way home today. I'm thinking the brake pedal switch could be an issue. I'll have to keep an eye on it.

Mine has just today crapped itself. Control lever has been intermittently behaving like its disconnected. Ie can turn on & set but then no response, brake to flick it off then can't reengage. Presently (with HIC driving) cannot turn it off or engage. Will check light fuses at next stop.

I got mine working. The brake pedal switch has some play in it's holder. I pushed the switchup and the cruise has worked since. I couldn't see any adjustment thread on the switch however the bracket the the switch is in is quite flexible.
