  • Installing a reversing light on the 120

Hi Guys, Friend gave me a small LightForce ROK flood light (looks like an awesome little light). I want to install it as a reversing light. Before I start pulling/joining wires like a total Noob and waste my time I just want to check if there is already a suitable spare wire/connector I can use in the back of the Prado?.

There will be a plug in passengers side next to the jack for factory connection of trailer socket. Or if trailer socket is already fitted easy to just connect off the Black wire that goes to the socket. I have a LED spotlight on rear connected via a relay that is powered by the trailer socket connection.

Thanks Mate. Appreciate the info. Yes I have a trailer socket installed.
The light is only 20W, do I need a relay, or can I get away with connecting directly to the existing wiring/fusing?

For 20w, I would just connect to the existing wiring. Mine is about same size but relay was already in place because of a halogen I previously fitted.
