  • Running power to back of Prado along the chassis

Hi Guys, I'm running power to the rear of the car. Considered running it inside under the door scuff plates, but decided to run it under the car. Wires are in a 20mm corrigated tubing, fuse added at the battery end so far. I'm not sure how best to secure the cable. Various holes along the chassis but I would think that using some sort of saddles along the side of the chassis would be the best, but not sure how they a usually attached other than drilling some screw holes along the chassis. Would be great to hear from anyone with experience doing this.

Ran mine along chassis rail. Used a version of 25mm anaconda flex conduit held in place with half saddles.

Thanks sparksy, nice work, great pics. Half saddles look a much better option. Where did you purchase the half saddles?

Bunnings sell them. Try and get decent flex conduit for cable protection, definitely dont use the split stuff, the light duty stuff isnt much better.
for what its worth the 25mm black poly retic pipe is pretty good if you cant get industrial type anaconda stuff.
