I guess that the set service intervals for "remote" owners like myself are a issue to those effected? My nearest Dealer is some 400km's away and apart from the odd holiday the kilometres rackup rather slowly. I had the first service at around 1700km in April, now 4500km and the Dealers invoice states "next service due at 10000km" however the service book talks about "6 months or 10000km - whichever occurs first". My question is how pedantic is Toyota on regular services, if like myself you might only travel 4000km in 6 months. I realize the big issue is any recourse as it stands as a condition of warranty.

Hi Mate
Try and keep on top of the servicing at the regular or toyota specified times. You dont want them to have any excuse to say no to a warranty issue.
