Gidday all, used the BCF snatch strap and tow hitch today for the first time to extract a mitsubishi dual cab 2wd and caravan from the mud at our camp site at Neil Turner Weir just outside Mitchell in QLD.
Pleased to report the snatch gear worked a treat and the Prado sucked the Mitsi from the mire without any dramas much to the delight of the elderly couple who could not thank me enough. The rain started late last night and all those grey nomads that had camped on the low ground and on the black soil either moved onto the bitumin last night or if they owned two wheel drive vehicles had to be towed out during the day. Just for the record top temperature today was 10 degrees and wet. Cannot wait until we move further north on our journey.
