Turbo Gas Leak

Hi,

I recently had a new turbo installed under warrantee. I've driven 5000km on it. Is it normal for a small amout of exhaust gas to leak past the seal where the actuator arm goes into the exhaust turbine housing? I noticed this on my old turbo and on the new one. The nice shiny aluminium is showing signs of dry black splatter. My car drives fine.

Can 150 series owners also check your turbos and let me know? Easy to check is to look through the drivers side front tyre well. You may have to remove the rubber flap to see the turbo.

can't help with the leak mate but why was the turbo replaced and would you know the cost of the new turbo.PLEASE...
