Just had a DP CHIP and Sterling exhaust fitted to my KZJ120R. Everyone knows as now do I about the modules. Won't go into it but......was just quietly surprised with the Sterling system. I researched for a month on here about the well know brands such as Taipan, Beaudesert and Manta and I only really went with the Sterling as it was offered as a package deal with the chip from FNB 4WD here in SA. I was even more hesitant when I turned up to drop off the Prado and they said the system doesn't have a centre muffler or cat, just a straight through with a larger rear muffler only.
When I picked the Prado up in the car park I noticed only the down turned tail pipe which at a glance looked the same as the standard exhaust. Started her up. Not much louder, just a purr like note. After driving her home..... Yes. ... Quiet but a slight note no drone and the old tractor like 1kz is now like a responsive petrol engine......(well almost, but after driving my wife's 200kw V6 Klueger all day I still noticed the new "pull" of the increased torque).
Highly recommend to anyone who is thinking about this system but is unsure.
