Timing belt change and Safari Chip

Hi guys a quick question i am getting the water pump and timing belt done on my 120 1kzte and my question was do i need to remove my safari chip to do this i am aware this chip adjusts fuel timing but does this have any affect on the physical timing when putting the new belt in ???

None at all, it only modifies the ECU input. The mechanical components of the engine have only one correct timing relationship with each other which cannot (and must not) be modified by any device, as na$ty noises may result.
