2009 with 180000kms, blows white smoke on start up

The current plan is to have it looked at by hi tech diesel injection in Adelaide. Soon as.
But I'm still concerned about oil usage. There is no leaks in the engine bay, no oil mist out the exhaust, and after the warmup no smoke. Also my oil level light comes on once I'm on the road, 5min runtime!? goes out again in a couple more minutes. This only happens with the last half of oil.

I think it might be too late....

I'll be betting that your sump screen is blocked. The reason your oil light is coming on is not due to lack of oil in the sump, but the inability to get it up into the engine.

Hear any loud ticking or rattle? That is a sure sign that something isn't right.

Based on what you're saying, it will be seals. Make sure they do a proper diagnostic on it and give you all the ECU readings.

Some oil may rest in the turbo...

Maybe that motor has significant blow by and your egr and intake is clogged.

I agree with everyone else. Get those injectors and seats looked at and have the oil pick up inspected also.
I think those injectors only have a service life of roughly 200k km's. We all know that's crap but.

Just too add something interesting, I think it sounds a bit pharked........
I'd be very nervous driving it. Although yes it may be too late to worry.......
