Smoke

I need some help here. Apart from injectors what other component requires servicing in order to prevent smoke. My 120 turbo diesel release a flash of white smoke on early morning start up and also, quantity of black smoke on the move. its not too bad but i just want to prevent it from the worse.
Please help share because we need your assistance. God bless you.

Which engine do you have? Injectors typically but if you have the 1KD or D4D engine you may need to replace injector sheets. Read through the sticky, yes all of it, in the 120 section.

I think we all know where this is going to end. Drop the oil and put an inspection camera through the drain hole and have a close look at the screen on the oil pick-up. If you don't have a camera then get a torch and look into the drain hole as best you can. If it is covered in crud then your engine is close to self destruction due to lack of lubrication. The piston rings and bores will be damaged and creating this smoke. The injector seals (sheets) have failed allowing combustion gases to pass into the rocker cover which mixes with the oil creating lumps of goo which then fall into the sump and block the oil pick-up resulting in no oil flow to engine components. If the screen is clear then you've probably got an issue with the valves in the head.
