Non D4D injectors in Adelaide

Hi All

The old girl has ticked over 200k now and its staring to slow down a bit and blow some smoke. have spoken to a few people and they have suggested to get the injectors done.

Just want peoples opinions on what to do and where to go (recon vs new)

Hi tech Diesel at Kilburn have said that i should only need to recon mine and have quoted me $510. A few people have said that is a bit rich and should only be a few hundred to get mine recon'd.

Whu has had theirs done and where?

Hi Mate,

Give John Brook at Southern Fuel Injection ph 8374 1321 a call (closer to you at St Marys too).
Top blokes and no nonsense advice - I believe he recons injectors on-site but I was in for the D4D change out with Baileys.

Better still, pop in and have a chat with him (you wont get out of the place for a while though!)

Thanks mate,

my mechanic is at St marys also so that will make it very easy to drop them off and pick them up. Might go past this arvo and have a chat!
