Afternoon,

Quick query, I have searched the forum and cant find an answer. Does it matter which end the egr restrictor plate goes of the cooler?
Can it be at the egr valve end?

I put mine at the valve end.. read somewhere afterwards that you are meant to put it at the other end but it's been on for a few hundred K's and not had any dramas... was a tricky job so be prepared to spend a few hours doing it and giving the EGR and inlet pipe a good clean...

Yep. The front end, right next to the water inlet/thermostat housing.
