i found when i ran e10 on me v6 4runner it ran fine, consumption did change, it still drank like a thirsty camel, if anything i found i got a few extra kms compared to 91unleaded, at best on 98 it use to get 420km out of 65 ltrs.
had an 03 gx 120 with some gear now got a 2013 bt 50 GT auto some ARB gear.

        Hi Hutch,

(one handed typing, as I had hand surgery yesterday!).. I have found my prado is really efficient using shell 95. I know it is more expensive, but it seems to be okay at the moment ?. My stop/start around town with the other half of the work on the open road, is about 13.4. What sort of numbers did the e10 give ya ??

        Cheers,
Matt, hope you are feeling alright, i got around the 16's again but for us as it is mainly around town that is normal, i have noticed no difference in way the car ran, i am using shell e10.

          Re: Ethanol blended fuel

Certainly a mixed bag of views above re e10 . . . But with super-funds accelerating backwards at the moment, some frugality is needed - even if only token . . .

Watch this space for my thoughts after filling up next time, and having some use of it . . .

            Re: Ethanol blended fuel

Guys after avery long distance run, i had no opuertunity to get E10 so normal unleaded went in and i did notice a difference in fuel economy, by about .5-1lt per 100, and given the current prices i have switched back to normal.
