fuel tank sizes ?

Hi all. I am about to convert my 2004 v6 auto Prado to lpg. Does anybody know the size of the rear tank that comes out? Is it 87 or 93 litres? Also does anybody know which tank the vehicle runs empty first when both tanks full? Cheers jurgs

both tanks hold 90 litres each. The rear tank is removed to fit the gas tank. The fuel pump to the motor is in the front tank, it also draws fuel from the rear tank . Who in Perth is fitting your system ?

Hi raydes. Do u know which tank empties first? Will likely get it fitted by malaga auto gas. Jurgs

Hi Jurgs "Do u know which tank empties first" bit of a funny answer, ,neither ,they both go down together. As fuel is pumped to the motor from the front tank a jet pump (part of the fuel pump) draws fuel from the rear tank to the front so both tanks go down together.When half the fuel is used a 90 litre light comes on . The pump is in the front tank and it works without the rear tank but the gauge needs to be rewired to read only one tank. The gas fitter should do this
