Aircon/Climate control

Hi
Just wondering what the Aircon/climate control is like in the updated model.Is it very effective or is just so so.We have had a few hot days of late so im sure you have had a few oppotunities to use it

Had ours now for about 4 weeks now and find it really quite good. The wife can change the temp according to her moods and I can relax in comfort. Also having one (GX) in the Pilbra, it gets really hot in the back without the rear air con.

If its really hot we chuck both on anyway (our car is black) and it works a treat.

Hi Robn,
I can say that Iam happy with the 07 Update GXL HVAC system, the last couple of days have been warm, we have had 37degC and 75%RH,. and the front system has worked well, I turned both front and rear systems on the other day when I had my black lab in the back and half way into town 25Km's I turned the rear unit off "too cold" but that was only with 1 person and dog in truck.

I think the addition of the condenser fan and the increased capacity of the update model has done the trick and there is no better place to test AC units in Aussie than up here in FNQ in December.
