G'Day All,
Sorry if this is a re-post, I have tried looking for this issue but have come up empty. Recently I did a service on my 08 D4 Prado (130Km), (Oil/Oil Filter/Fuel Filter/Oil Filter) everything went smoothly until a day or so later I noticed a clicking noise which is very intermittent and seems to happen primarily when stationary and when the vehicle is off. The noise is defiantly coming from the drivers side of the engine, there have been no warning lights/vibrations/smells just this very sporadic click. The only info I seem to find on this issue if when an oil change is done the new oil flushes out any sediments out of the engine (http://forum.ih8mud.com/80-series-te...g-noise-2.html) (I know that this is in relation to mostly LCs)
Can anyone spread some light on this issue, hopefully this will not result in a costly trip to Toyota...
Cheers,
