Had to remove the glovebox to get at the filter/fan behind it as I had a ticking noise that I hoped was a leaf stuck in there somewhere (it was). The manual sort of explains whats needed but it's not quite clear that the 'string thing' (techy term) on the right hand side that stops the lid coming out too far can be pulled out substaintially to allow you to get it off, and more importantly, on. Getting the bottom (plastic) hinges on also took a bit of mucking around as it was hard to get the right hand one back in. A short sharp wack actually did the job!
Also, my GXL didn't have a filter element in the hole, which is probably why the leaf got stuff in the fan!
