Just wondering what people have payed to get new evaporator and to re-gas?
And what the heck is Dessicant kit?

A few hundred for the evaporator [or about $700 if you insist on genuine] plus gassing.

The condenser in front of the radiator has a tube in the sides, where the desiccant bag and filter is kept to assorb moisture in the system.

the aftermarket evaporators i have fitted were the genuine ones in the box anyway , a days work to remove and refit the dash and replace it, the desiccant bag is about 10 minutes work to replace
