Fit the rear shocks, realized that the 2 OEM shocks are still pretty good then pop the left airbag during test drive because I didn't retain it on the top (missing clip). Perhaps I'll buy a new pair from Amayama. Car will probably sit in the Garage for 2 weeks >.< . Silly me

Narva headlight globes went in, but only after both batteries were removed => why do they put ropes on some batteries, damn thing broke on the first tug!
Oil filter and oil change => the Aldi inspection camera worked well, displaying a clean oil pickup.
Replaced that triangular rubber thing which holds the muffler => Mr Toyo sure makes it hard with the flange on the end of the metal projection => atleast it won't come off again anytime soon!

Well not today but yesterday we went for a family outing to Duck Creek Rd. A lot more rocky and rutted out since I was last there a few years ago which I was pleased with. made it more of an adventure and took longer. All the off shoot tracks are now closed off (being private property) which is a little shame but understandable.2007 GXL V6 - ARB Bullbar with LED lights, snorkel, extractors, 2 1/4" dual exhaust, K&N filter, dimpled/slotted rotors, headrest dvd players, Ebay Satnav/reverse camera, GME 3100TX, Tigerz11 Side awning on custom brackets with Maxtrax mounts, 300W Invertor, ARB Underbody protection, Lightbar and STZ 265/70 tyres.
Wish list in order I'll get them: Sliders, 2" lift, E-locker, Winch bar with winch.

Took her to Toyota Spares to get a quote for a new Left Hand Side Flare... $474 just in case you are wondering.
What I thought was broken clips turns out to be a snapped front mounting tab. Panel repair joint suggested I just get in there and tek screw it on Now just got to figure out how to get behind the Sovereign Bar![SIZE=2]120 GXL D4D Auto, with a 'List of Wants' greater than the 'List of Needs' greater than the 'List of Haves'

Other option is the superglue with the dry powder additive. http://www.rapid-fix.com/newsite/ind...what-can-i-fix

Reordered a replacement O2 sensor after getting the part number wrong and ordered the incorrect one (ordered an Air Fuel sensor which is pre-cat instead of post-cat). Price from Amayama for genuine was $166 + $30 shipping from UAE compared to $371 exGST from Toyota.

Added about 200kg of mud driving between Banjawan and Leinster and then spent an hour with a sharp stick to get most of it out of the mud flaps. Tomorrow will add more mud up near Wiluna.Dave

Well we're on a 2 month trip up to Darwin from Perth and back ,
a few days ago we were filling up in Kunnanara , first tank empty second tank about 20 lts out , so topped up with PETROL instead of DIESEL , always so carefull but waiting at the pump for ages while a bloke was waiting for chips, grrrr, didn't check the pump,
Anyway had it all drained out and new filter $250 all up plus all my pumped out fuel, plus a fill up with diesel , so a costly day really plus half a day wasted ,
Up in Darwin for a week or so and a coast road back to Perth with all the stops in between .
That's what I did in my 120 kd .
Towing my van around the 2 . 2 tonn loaded was leaving in D ( 5 th ) but wasn't locking at times so mostly tow in 4 at about 2300 ish around the 90 ish and it feels fine , a few comments on P CREW recommended 4 th anyway , might look into the torque converter lockup when I get back , but that's a question for another day.
Cheers Alan.
