Got it back from the panel beaters (neighbour owns a panel shop) after getting a new rear bar fitted. Asked him to do a small mod when he painted it. I think it turned out ok.

What was the symptoms for the front bearing Wtrxprs007? I have a squealing noise and occasional clicking when under load. If it was just clicking I would of thought CV for sure. But this is in a straight line only and as said, only when under load. If I idle it goes away. Put it in neutral and rev, nothing. It sounds very much like a bearing.
craigm, just jack up the front wheels & feel the top to bottom movement (push/pull the top & bottom of the tyre)
mine had only 90k on them and they were stuffed ( previous owner had done a few water crossings)
mine had no noise , no issues just notice the play in the wheel while on the hoist

hmm, you issue sounds weird. I'd check for anything rubbing like the backing plate behind the rotor, not sure.
How I found my wheel bearing was just one day I had the car in the air, and there was a LOT of play in the wheel when you move it at 12 and 6. Weirdly, I had no noise at all before I found it.
wouldn't think a bad bearing would be squealing or clicking when driving though
